While my primary purpose is not to encourage you to leave your current practice, there are times when it is in your best interest to do so. If you decide to set up your own practice, you now start becoming a full time business owner. As a full time business owner, you now have the job of working on the business and in the business.
As a business owner, you now are responsible for feeding not just you and your family, but the families of the employees who work for you. In the beginning you are the finder, minder and grinder. As you grow, you begin to delegate and leverage your time and focus on what you do best.
Congratulations you have moved from employee to employer.
You are now in charge of culture, hiring, firing, coaching, branding, marketing, business development, compliance, administration and finances.
You can outsource much of the employer responsibilities and administration to third party providers. Contact me to learn how.
